L.R.S. Records is excited to announce 2 new releases by some of our favorite Open-Mic Night regulars Dave Mallon, and Judge Gazza. Both will be released June 28th at Funk n Waffles Downtown in Syracuse, but they can be pre-ordered now in the store section of LRSrecords.com. The show will also feature Ithaca NY's Misses Bitches and 2 more TBA. This will be L.R.S. Records first dual release show. The show will be $10 and all patrons will receive a free copy of the album of their choice.
Dave Mallon will be releasing an EP on CD that will feature 6 new songs of blue collar struggles including the songs "Lucky Ones" and "Scottholm Syndrome". Dave has been playing at almost every L.R.S. Open Mic since the first show, as well as the 2-Year Anniversary Show. When he is not performing solo, he has been a member of Operation Hennessey playing guitar and singing backup as well as lead. He appeared on 2014's L.R.S. Records Open Mic Compilation. This will mark his first solo release for L.R.S. Records.
Judge Gazza will also be releasing a 6-song cassette tape. This will be his debut recording with L.R.S. Judge Gazza is a one man rock n' roll band who can be seen at many L.R.S. Open Mic's as well as all over upstate NY opening for groups like Molly Gene, Derive, and many more. He plays homemade cigar box guitars that provide a great accompaniment to his howling vocals and 4 on the floor stomping pattern.
